The Hagbourne Garden Club meets on the fourth Thursday of each month (except August and December) at 7.30pm in East Hagbourne Village Hall. Coffee is served from 7pm. Events include talks, slide shows, demonstrations, plant sales, garden visits and occasional seed distributions.

Thursday 25 September - Win Stanton, a member of Wantage Field Club will be delivering an illustrated presentation entitled ‘Garden Birds.’

Thursday 23 October - Following his excellent talk on garden pests a year or so ago, Ray Broughton, of Sparsholt College will be telling us all about the production of ‘Organically Grown Vegetables in Small Gardens.’

Thursday 27 November - QUIZ –Although there may well be questions on gardening, this is a quiz for everyone. Members are encouraged to bring along their non-gardening as well as gardening friends. Either come along as a team of 4, or come individually and we will put you in a team. Prizes for the winning team.

We resume on 22 January 2009 – programme to be arranged.
