The new contract will commence during the second week of June. Each household will be delivered written details along with 4 new containers between now and June. One Wheelie Bin will be for recyclables and one will be for non-recyclables and will be collected on alternate weeks. The other two containers will be for kitchen waste, a smaller caddy for use in the kitchen and a larger bin for curbside collection every week. Please contact SODC if you think that bins will cause a major logistical problem for you and they may well survey your property and agree the use of bags instead. FLOODING RELIEF SODC's contractors have completed clearance of the upper and lower stream channels downstream from Tadley Bridge, including lowering the level of the main channel at the bridge itself. It is hoped that these works will significantly reduce the flooding risk in the Tadley area. Continued vigilance is still required.
